On August 19th, 1992, this monument was officially dedicated to the memory of those who participated in the Dieppe Raid. This is the only known memorial in Canada solely dedicated to the Dieppe Raid.

Saskatchewan War Memorial Project

The Saskatchewan War Memorial Project is a memorial to the more than 10,000 Saskatchewan residents who lost their lives in World War I, World War II, The Korean War and peacetime operations. The second phase, The Saskatchewan World War II, Korea and Peacetime Operations Memorial, was dedicated on October 2, 2005 during Saskatchewan's 100th anniversary celebrations. The memorials are located on the west lawn of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building in Wascana Park. They hold the names of our fallen heroes from virtually every community in Saskatchewan. Thanks to donations from Saskatchewan residents, veterans, families, friends, school children, the business community and the government, they will not be forgotten.
